The Pyramids may be Egypt's best-known icon, bu there is still more to this north African state still to be discovered. Year round sun and high temperatures, coupled with exotic culture and history, Egypt also offers a wealth of both man made and natural wonders. With so little being discovered, property investors are arriving in their droves with the intention of doing just that. Property in the Red Sea is remarkably cheap by UK and most European standards, considering much of it is beachfront. The country might have had its fair share of problems with the Red Sea terrorist attacks, but after a short term drop in visitor numbers, investors and holidaymakers are keen to explore the booming Egyptian property market.

The short term rental property market in Egypt has been giving investors the best returns so far. However, with new legislation being introduced to make it easier for overseas buyers to purchase property in Egypt, it will not be long before the real estate sector in this ancient land catches up to its short term rentals market.
