Location
The town of Bansko is ancient and charming with cobbled streets and wooden taverns, nestled as it is between 3 mountain ranges and just outside the Pirin National Park which has been designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.

 Bansko is Bulgaria’s Premier Ski Resort. The slopes there situable for all abilities  from beginners upwards. It has 14 runs-1 Black, 8 Red and 5 Blue. The ski-season runs from Mid-December-early May with up to 3 meters  of snow  per year which is supplemented  by 40 snow cannons when necessary. You can ski off-piste and the slopes are groomed regulary.

With Bansko's Pistes starting at 900 metres and rising to 2,600 on the Todorka Peak  in the Pirin Mountains National Park, the conditions are the best in Eastern Europe. View recent press articles in the UK press.

Finance
Bulgarian Mortgages are available for up to 70% of the property value meaning you will only need to find the initial 30% (providing you can prove a minimum income of €30,000 per year – approx £21,000 and subject to a successful UK credit check).  The Bulgarian Bank will then finance the roof stage and final payments.
