New airmiles scheme to boost overseas property investment

Property news
Monday, 30 July 2007

The scheme, Rewards4all, will offer all passengers automated rewards. Each economy one way fare will add up to one point, meaning that passengers will be able to earn points even when flying on a £19.99 ticket, the carrier said.

These points can then be exchanged as money off fairs at a later date.

Mike Rutter, Flybe's chief commercial officer said: "Rewards4all is an industry first and sees Flybe stretching beyond the realms of a traditional low cost carrier.

'The scheme will be a big attraction for those second home owners, city breakers and families with regular trips to visit friends and family, who are at the heart of our customer profile.'

Earlier this week a spokesperson from the original Airmiles scheme, which sees Tesco and Shell customers accumulate points, said that Airmiles passengers are "smart" in their approach to protecting the environment.
