Completion date is estimated at 18 months. The apartments can be reserved with a 3,000 euro deposit. The constructor is then offering a finance facility (subject to status) to cover the 20% deposit via Cofisa (consultors financers la safor) and a guaranteed mortgage on completion.

Jalón is traditionally extremely popular with British buyers and interestingly the policy adopted by the local town council officials is to be very restrictive with planning applications, ensuring that development is compatible with the environment. Restricted development will ensure that Jalón remains a good area for investment.

Jalón is described by the British travel press as the Costa Blanca’s ‘Jewel in the Crown’. The valley has a very healthy rental market which at the moment is dominated by villa rental. The apartments will be a very competitive alternative for both long term rentals and short term holiday lets.

The Location
A 20 minute car journey from the coastal towns of Moraira and Calpe will take you through some of the most stunning and breathtaking scenery and in to the Jalón Valley, where the mountains rise majestically offering a taste of rural Spain.

The journey will take you through Benissa, a town built several miles from the coast to ward off pirate attacks. From here a drive through rolling hills takes you to Lliber, a small historic village and on to and the famed wine country of the Jalón Valley. Dubbed the Costa Blanca’s ‘Jewel in the Crown’ by the British travel press, vineyards, almond groves, orange and lemon groves literally cover the valley floor.

The Jalón Valley, also known as Vall de Pop, comprises the villages of Murla, Benigembla, Parcent, Alcalalí, Jalón and Lliber.

Jalón, the capital of the Jalón Valley, is a lively town with a beautiful church in the centre with a striking blue tiled covered dome.

The picturesque village features narrow streets and atmospheric squares and buildings and contains everything you need, such as banks, post office, hospital, supermarket and bakery etc. The infrastructure of Jalón has grown over the past few years and apart from restaurants and typical bars, you will find lots of shops with local products like home-made sausages and honey. The village also has an International School on the outskirts; The Lady Elizabeth College, offering an international education in a very modern environment for pupils from 3 – 18 years.

In the old part of the town, you will discover the church located in the square and the antique watermill at the end of the Calle Mayor. The wine museum exhibits more than 3,000 different items charting 2,500 years of history and the Ethnologic Museum charts the traditions and the way of life during the long history of Jalón.
